can be learned from its people. And from the people they interact with – clients, partners, providers. It's these folks who ultimately offer their seal of approval that determines an organization's merit.

Since the FSCLF is an organization operating under the premise of improving the living conditions of the communities it serves, it is of paramount importance that the people managing its day-to-day affairs be fully vested in that commitment. Judging by the smiling faces of children at a newly-opened day care or the proud stride of a brand new home-owner, or even a kind letter from a small business owner who couldn't have launched her enterprise without FSCLF's help, that commitment is evident.
