The development of affordable housing is a key facet of our community development efforts. First State Community Loan Fund has assisted in the creation or preservation of over 300 units of affordable housing. These efforts range from supervised apartments for special needs populations to transitional housing to single-family homes for home ownership.

Loans can be used for pre-development, acquisition, construction or rehabilitation. In addition to the loan programs described below, the FSCLF works with larger developers and other funding sources to create project- or program-specific lines of credit.
