The Delawareans Save! Individual Development Account (IDA) program is a
special savings program that assists you in building assets and increasing
wealth. It will match your savings $1.50 for each $1.00 for specific
purposes. Save $1.00, earn $1.50!

The maximum that you may save and get matched is $1,500 per person or
$3,000 per household. The match for every $1,500 saved would be $2,250.
You must save a minimum of $25 and up to a maximum of $250 per month to
receive the matching dollars.

You can use the money for the following goals:

- Homeownership
- Small Business Growth or Development
- Education/Training

Delawareans Save! has specific income eligibility requirements, and many

DELAWAREANS SAVE! INCOME ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES
To qualify, your total household income must be less than the amount below.
Note: If you have earned income and receive TANF or the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and meet asset requirements, you automatically qualify for the program.

NOTES:
Your household includes anyone who lives and eats together—related or unrelated.
You must be a resident of Delaware to participate.
Your total assets must be less than $10,000 not including a primary residence and a car.
Guidelines are for income before taxes not including child-support.
You may keep your IDA even if your income increases after you join.
